La Forge à Pains is the story of a professional transformation and a passion for sourdough bread.
But it is also a place steeped in history, situated in the heart of Eysins village. The old blacksmith’s forge has been converted into an open bakehouse and is ready to welcome you in its midst, surrounded by flour bags and bannetons.

Our Philosophy…
La Forge à Pains is driven by a certain philosophy of baking – that of a living bread.
The open bakehouse concept is another aspect of our philosophy, which seeks to better connect producers and customers by making and selling our breads under the same roof.
